Answer:
I am one of the very first people in the world to have done the
Purification Rundown. I was part of the group of Sea Org staff
in PAC who were ordered to do the Purif as part of the pilot
program conducted in the late 70s at the Cedars Complex.
The amount of niacin specified:
"100 mg daily to begin. It is then increased gradiently to as high
as 5000 mg. Particularly B1 and C have to keep pace with it as it
is increased in dosage." (ref: HCOB 6 Feb 1978RB "The Purification
Rundown Replaces The Sweat Program", page 10)
The length of time on the program:
"One should be able to get through the whole program in two
weeks at five hours a day. Some will take more and some will
take less." (ref: HCOB 6 Feb 1978RB, page 18)
Based upon my own experience, many staff took 4-6 weeks to
complete the program, doing it 5 hours per day.
