Question:
1. How easy is it to install a sauna or steam room in my cellar?
2.How costly is it to install and finally run?
Has anyone ever attempted such a project or is it one of those that
needs a builder?
Answer:
I have installed one for a customer. It came almost totally pre-cut like a
giant lincon-log set. it was about 4x8 and made totally of clear white cedar.
It cost about $3000 with everything needed to complete the job aside from the
wiring from the main panel. You could probably do most of it yourself, but I
would leave the electrical heater installation to an electrician. The people I
installed it for told me it is costing them about $7 a month using it everyday
for about 30 minutes a day. I don't know who made it, but I know they found and
bought the kit over the internet.
