Question:
The Thera Sauna is a nice Sauna, maybe a wee bit pricey for me. Do you
feel that your sauna does not have enough wattage, as in it takes a long
time to heat up?
Answer:
As I said, ours in in the basement where the ambient temperature is fairly
constantly about 68 degrees F. That means it probably takes a bit longer
for the sauna to warm up to a comfortable level. Still, seems like fifteen
minutes is satisfactory. But as a comment on this warmup thingie, as of
late I've sort of changed my mind in connection with, oh, "wasted
electricity" (and money) regarding "longer" warmup periods. I mean,
recently, circumstances changed a bit and I found I was (somewhat
inadvertently) warming the sauna up for about 25 minutes before entering it.
Well, hey, that warmup time isn't wasted 'cos' it just gets you sweating
faster anyway.
