CO2 Has Already Heated the Oceans, so it's More than Possible

Question:
How can the low total heat capacity of the atmosphere relative to that of the oceans result in significant temperature increase of the oceans?

Answer:
Heat flows from a warm body to a cold one. Sometimes called the zeroth law of thermodynamics. You will notice that INFRARED Lamps are sold for warming because they DON'T heat the air much. They are sold to farmers to keep baby chicks warm. They are sold to reptile pet owners to keep there repiliariums warmed. They are sold in INFRARED SAUNAS.

The CO2 is only one little molecule in ever 2625 parts of air. The H2O is a minimum of 1% up to a maximum of 4%, or 1 per 100 to 4 per hundred parts. In a terrarium or a barn the IR is hardly noticable among a big air volume.

In an INFRARED SAUNA the air temperature definately warms up to about 120 degrees despite the fact that most molecules don't absorb IR. As you can see by visiting any health club with an IR sauna installed, IR can definately add to the overall heat of the air just by heating the few susceptible molecules of CO2 and H2O.

NOW THAT IS A SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENT that you can afford to do without a big investment. Just pay the health spa for an hour in their sauna. Bring your thermometer. The Infrared will affect the water in your body just like it does the few molecules in the air.

Of course, if you forget to wear your tinfoil hat the CIA will force you to make a fool of yourself again in public denying that infrared saunas exist. Here are some ads on the internet where you can buy one for your home -- they are quite economical, only five cents a day to operate for 20 minute sessions daily.
